Les Levine’s House is a tongue-in-cheek sendup of Minimalist/Conceptualist art practice in which Levine designates a series of photos of a collapsed house as a “working plan for a sculpture or monument.” Anyone choosing to undertake the project is instructed to work “according to the scale of the space he finds available” and to send photos of the finished work to Levine. Published by Hilversum: Steendrukkerij de Jong & Co., 1971.
